I walk this Mexican road in awe!!! I see the great hill in front of me rising from this huge plain. But is it a hill or a handmade mountain!?
What I see in front of me is the Great Pyramid of #Cholula, and it is the biggest known excavated pyramid in the world.

For centuries nature has been growing around it and today it looks like a mountain on top of a mountain since it lies at 2149m altitude. But then again, this is not exactly the truth. And I must search really hard to find the truth behind Cholula.
You see, all it seems to be is a hill with a catholic temple on top. But as I go through the tunnels inside it I feel the old voices from over 2000 years ago touching me. I feel the great God #Tlachihualtepetl still present, protecting Cholula.
Cholula really means ‘artificial hill’ and before that it was called Acholollan in the Nahuatl language which means the ‘place of water that falls in the place of the flight’.
More accurately it means the place of water where people fell, fleeing or moving from another place. It is believed that the people that first came here in 200BC were indeed from a different place and their faith came with them.They have strong resemblance with the people in Teotihuacan and we don’t know their origin or their tribe.
But we know that their main God in the Pantheon is the Great God Tlachihualtepetl. This is the patron of priests, the inventor of the calendar and of written word, and he was identified with the planet Venus. In #Teotihuacan he is a white man with a beard. He comes from a different time and continent and he is the designer of the pyramids in Teotihuacan which present the first clues that there was knowledge of physics. And the most important he was a peace advocate, and the people of Teotihuacan and Cholula were peaceful concentrated in knowledge and prosperity both physical and spiritual. They did not sacrifice people for their blessings and they believed that they live in the 5th universe, while the previous 4 have been destroyed by the climate changes resulting in floods and other… (more about that in another article)
The oldest pyramid is in #Greece up in the #mountain #Taygetus (Taygetos, Greek: Ταΰγετος) and it looks like a small hill. You cannot really find it because it’s one with the mountain.
Pyramids always resembled the mountains and respected the looks of the mountains.
In fact this great mountain in Greece it is said that it is an artificial mountain itself.
Mountains are our connection with the #divine.
Their purpose is to bring the energy from the universe and impregnate the Earth. Meaning to bring prosperity, life and make us through this life become our divine self.
The people of Cholula new that importance and it is said that they covered the Great Pyramid to protect it because they knew about the destruction that the Spanish were causing around the world.
100.000 people used to live here before Cortes and the Spanish slaughtered more than half of them when they arrived here in 1519. Cortes was so thirsty to decimate the indigenous people that he did not notice that under that hill there’s really a pyramid.
And I am so grateful for that because now I can wonder in the tunnels and try to reach my divine self.
Exercise: I sit for a while and imagine a white light of energy coming from the universe through the top of the pyramid and through my head. The light is very bright and it soon covers all of my body and it goes down to the center of the Earth. I stay there for 2 minutes and I feel the connection with the Earth and the Cosmos. I open my eyes and I walk to exit the tunnel. I say to myself ‘as I exit this tunnel I exit all my worries and frustrations.
Cholula is a magical place. Here I can feel the things we have forgotten about. I can feel the knowledge of the #ancients and their presence around us while they try to guide us to make the best choices for ourselves. I ask them, whomever they are, to guide me on my choices. And always thank them and the universe for giving me the opportunity to experience such a life in this 5th universe.
