Is It a Difficult Day? Only the Mountain Knows the Solution!!!


Sometimes we find #positivity so difficult that it crashes our self-confidence. ‘Why is everyone laughing and is happy and positive and I can’t?’ This question not only questions our ability to be positive but it makes us comparing ourselves to others and feel week disregarding our true abilities and talents.

And these talents and abilities may be indeed as unique as are we as humans.

I often think about all of us who try to achieve some kind of goal. Big or small, personal or professional each one thinks that their goal is the most difficult thing to achieve. We set our minds into the difficulty and we imagine our ‘wants’ like a mountain we need to climb. There are many voices that scream to us ‘think positive your goal is easy if you imagine it’s easy’. But how easy is it to put ourselves in such a mood?


I was thinking, what if instead of questioning ourselves we would accept our negativity and weakness and go on from there. What if we would imagine that indeed our goal is a #mountain to climb!

Your first thought here may be that this suggestion only makes your life more difficult. But there is an idea that could change your perception over this.


What if, as we go on, we would start to be friends with this mountain?

We could imagine that our mountain is our friend. He is a little bit difficult, maybe a teenager brat, if you know what I mean, with some steep sides and hard rocks, but brats are like this because they have issues. And they can change with support and help from the rest of the world. So what if we took some time to understand this mountain like we would do with a teenager.

We could take the time to smell, feel and see His presence and hear and truly listen to His voice and understand it.


#Exercise: Find a comfortable position. Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths.

Imagine you are on a road and before you there is a #mountain. You will decide if it's big or small. Think about all your goals or difficulties and add a layer to your mountain for each and every one of them.

Imagine climbing the mountain slowly. Every 7 steps you make you have climbed a goal. Now its time for the next one. If something is hard for you to climb just imagine sitting in a rock. Speak to the mountain and ask what is your fear for this goal. The mountain will send you a message, a word, a smell... continue until you reach the top. If you cant reach the top it's ok. The next day you will start from a higher place.

When you reach the top thank your mountain for His help achieving your goals, for giving you all the messages you needed to do so.

Take 3 deep breaths and return to the Now.
